Harvey is believed to be armed and dangerous. The Sheriff's Office is urging the public to call immediately if they see him, and to not attempt to make contact. Harvey is heavily tattooed and was last seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and/or a green shirt and blue jeans.
On 9-21-18, Shandon Elementary and Shandon High School were both told to shelter in place. That order is no longer in effect since those schools have let out for the day. Residents are strongly encouraged to lock their doors, secure their vehicles, and to not leave keys inside their vehicles.
