During the course of the investigation, video surveillance was obtained that showed the suspect and his vehicle. The suspect was identified as Douglass, who was on drug related probation. Today, Deputies contacted Douglass and recovered the stolen property from the burglary in his home. Douglass was also found to be in possession of a loaded firearm equipped with a homemade silencer.
Douglass may be associated with other burglaries in the area. A search of his car and residence revealed other items in his possession including laptops, watches, cell phones and tools.
Douglass was arrested for first degree burglary and being a felon in possession of a firearm and was booked into County Jail.

On that day, the suspect broke into a house occupied by two elderly residents who were asleep at the time.
