A male victim was discovered to have a laceration to his back, and reported being attacked by two coworkers at a jobsite in rural Arroyo Grande. The victim was treated and released from the hospital.
The victim reported he had been living with the suspects up until recently. The victim also reported the suspects had brandished a firearm at him the previous evening in Santa Maria.
Sheriff's Detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspects and a search warrant for their residence in Santa Maria. Later that evening the Santa Maria Police Department Special Enforcement Team served the warrant and took Hector Tinoco Agustin and Jonathan Tinoco into custody. Detectives located a stolen pistol inside of the residence along with an Assault Rifle.
Both suspects were arrested on charges of attempted murder and were booked into county jail. The investigation is ongoing.
