Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 3-6-13, Approximately 9:00 PMPlace of Occurrence: 2800 block of Cloudy Meadow Road, rural Templeton, CAVictim Information: Robert Stark Hickey, 48, TempletonSuspect Information: N/AOn 3-6-13, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a man with an apparent gunshot wound. The Sheriff’s Office responded to the 911 call with patrol deputies, detectives, coroner investigators, and a forensic specialist. Through the course of the investigation the man was identified as the home owner, Robert Stark Hickey, 48 years of age. Although the investigation is continuing, the preliminary findings indicate that Hickey’s death was the result of an accident. An autopsy is scheduled for next Thursday.No further information is available at this time.
