On Monday, Deputies responded to a report of an assault and robbery in rural Oceano. The victim reported he had met with three people he knew to be gang members. They drove him to a field in Oceano where the three suspects beat the victim and took his money and cellphone.
As a result of their investigation, the Gang Task Force was able to serve three search warrants at three different locations. At each location they found evidence related to the robbery and assault. They arrested 21-year-old Luis Armando Ramirez, Jr., of Oceano, 22-year-old Andres deJesus Serna Rozales of Oceano, and 24-year-old Adolfo Barrera, Jr., of Arroyo Grande. All three are facing charges of robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, along with a gang enhancement.
