Possession of Ecstasy for Sale, Possession of Heroin for Sale, Sale of Narcotics within 1000 feet of a School
Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 8-27-13, Approximately 2:30 PMPlace of Occurrence: 1500 block of West Newport Street, San Luis ObispoVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: Anthony Allen Wong, 26, San Luis ObispoOn 8-27-13, members of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit conducted a probation search at the home of Anthony Wong in the 1500 block of West Newport Street in San Luis Obispo. Wong was already on felony probation for transportation of narcotics for sale. Detectives searched a room that was Wong was renting at the home. They discovered 788 ecstasy tablets, which is an illegal stimulant and can cause a user's core body temperature to spike and could lead to death. Detectives also found approximately 5 grams of heroin, and a small amount of marijuana. The total street value of all the drugs combined is approximately $50,000. Wong was arrested on several charges including possession of ecstasy for sale, possession of heroin for sale, and the sale of narcotics within 1,000 feet of a school, in this case C.L. Smith Elementary School.
