Contact: Watch CommanderPhone: (805) 781-4553Date and time of incident: 10-05-13 / 0924Place of Occurrence: On the beach, approximately 1.5 miles North of the Cayucos PierVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: N/ACHP fixed wing aircraft located what appeared to bean abandoned Panga Boat on the beach North of Cayucos. Sheriff's Patrol and Detective personnel along with State Park Rangers and Cal Fire, responded to the location and secured the 45 foot vessel. Though no drugs were recovered, evidence supports the Panga Boat was used to transport narcotics. There were 15 fuel containers aboard the vessel.The Panga Boat was transported to Morro Bay for additional investigation.
