Deputies arrested 31-year-old Alexander Allan Matarese of Cayucos for transporting a controlled substance for sale and for possessing a controlled substance for sale. He is currently in County Jail with bail set at 500,000 dollars.

Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 7-8-15, Approximately 6:30 PMPlace of Occurrence: Highway 41 at Cripple Creek, CrestonVictim Information: N/ASuspect Information: Alexander Allan Matarese, 31, CayucosOn 7-8-15, a Sheriff's Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a car that was speeding in the area of Highway 41 at Cripple Creek Road in Creston. The Deputy approached the car and noticed a plastic bag filled with what appeared to be cocaine in the center console of the car. The driver admitted it was cocaine. With the assistance of a Sheriff's K9 and Paso Robles Police, the car was searched and investigators found an estimated three kilograms (approximately 6.5 pounds) of cocaine.Deputies arrested 31-year-old Alexander Allan Matarese of Cayucos for transporting a controlled substance for sale and for possessing a controlled substance for sale.
