On 5-10-16 Fuentes was observed at the Edgewater Inn in Pismo Beach and the Sheriff's Gang Task Force conducted a probation compliance check. Fuentes was contacted at the hotel with a warrant for his arrest. A search of his hotel room revealed approximately 5.3 ounces of suspected methamphetamine with a street value of $6,000, 25.2 grams of suspected heroin with a street value of $2,500, narcotic sales packaging, digital scales, $3,300 dollars in US currency, metal knuckles, and a replica handgun.
Fuentes was booked into County Jail on two counts of possession of a controlled substance for sale as well as his outstanding warrant.
