A student at the school received a text message containing the threat and reported it to school staff.
Out of an abundance of caution, students were evacuated to nearby Nipomo High School. Deputies and K9's arrived on scene and began searching the school. An exhaustive search was conducted. No device was located.
The incident is still being investigated by the Sheriff's Office. No further information is available at this time.
