Assault with a Deadly Weapon Update
Contact: Tony CipollaPhone: (805) 781 4547Date and time of incident: 7-21-13, Approximately 3:18 PMPlace of Occurrence: Area of Cyclone and Grande, NipomoVictim Information: Unknown Hispanic female Suspect Information: Hispanic male, approximately 40 years old, approximately 5' 4", dark complexion, short curly hair, wearing white button up shirt, black pantsThe San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in trying to locate the driver of a truck who is suspected of shooting a firearm toward a woman in Nipomo on 7-21-13. The victim was walking when the incident took place. The victim was then told to get into the vehicle and the two drove off. Witnesses say the driver also fired at them as the suspect drove away. There are no reports of injuries. Detectives are looking for a 90's model white Chevrolet 4X4 pickup truck with extended cab, tinted windows, a gray rack against the rear cab window, and a "Z 71" sticker on the tailgate.
