The bikes were loaded up and taken to the Sheriff's Honor Farm where they will be completely refurbished by inmates and then handed out to kids in need this holiday season.
This is the fifth year Don has donated bikes to what he calls "a wonderful event that's great for kids." The Sheriff's Office extends a big thank you to Don for his generous gift and giving spirit.
A reminder the Christmas Bicycle Giveaway is December 10th at 12:00 pm at the Honor Farm parking lot, 880 Oklahoma Avenue in San Luis Obispo.
If you know of a child in need of a bicycle and would like an application, send an e-mail to Sergeant Denise Armstrong at [email protected]. All applications are due by: December 1st.
