Less than 10 minutes later, responding Deputies spotted a vehicle matching the description in the area of Riverside Rd. and Division St., Nipomo. The occupants of this vehicle attempted to flee when spotted by Deputies, which resulted in the suspect vehicle getting stuck in a field. The male occupants of the vehicle ran away. One male suspect was taken into custody immediately by Deputies. A second male suspect was taken into custody a short time later with the assistance of Sheriff’s Office K9 “D.J.” and CHP Helicopter 70.
Two male suspects are in custody on felony charges of PC 211 – robbery. Personal property taken from the victims by the suspects was subsequently recovered. No injuries were reported by the victims. This is an active on-going Sheriff’s Office investigation.
